At VotingApp, we take your privacy and the security of your information very seriously. This Privacy Policy covers VotingApp mobile applications (the "Service") operated by Vidaloop Inc. d.b.a. VotingApp (“Company”, "us", "we", or "our"). This policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service, accessible from https://www.votingapp.com/.

Definitions

  1. Service: Service is VotingApp websites and/or software applications or mobile applications operated by Vidaloop Inc. (d.b.a. VotingApp)
  2. Personal Data: Personal Data means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).
  3. Usage Data: Usage Data is data collected automatically either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, we are a Data Controller of your Personal Data.

  6. Data Subject (or User): Data Subject is any living individual who is using our Service and is the subject of Personal Data.

Information Collection and Use

We collect data for app functionality such as to authenticate the user, enable features, prevent fraud, implement security measures, ensure server up-time, minimize app crashes, improve scalability and performance, or perform customer support. The data may be collected but is not linked to your identity.

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to authenticate you ("Personal Data"). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to name, birth date, last four digits of social security, or house number. 

We will never store your Personal Data or use it to contact you.

Usage Data

We may also collect information on how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), app version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

United States Citizens and/or Residents

Vidaloop Inc. provides Services for users residing in the United States and for citizens of the United States residing or traveling overseas. The laws governing the collection and use of information within the United States may differ from those of your country of residence or travel. 

Retention of Data

Vidaloop Inc. will retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer periods.

Security of Data

The security of your data is extremely important to us. We use the highest level of physical and technological safeguards to secure the data shared with us. Despite these safeguards, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Any email or other communication purporting to be from our Services or websites asking you to provide sensitive information via email should be treated as unauthorized and suspicious and should be reported to us immediately by emailing corporate@vidaloop.com.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.
